Boston Globe Names Virtual, Inc. a Top Workplace For 2012

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Nov. 5, 2012 – Virtual, Inc., a technology-focused association management company, has been recognized as one of the 125 “Top Places to Work 2012” by the Boston Globe. Virtual is one of only 25 honored in the Small Employers category, which covers firms having 50 to 99 employees in Massachusetts. The winners were announced in the newspaper’s November 4 edition.

The Top Workplaces program was set up to recognize companies that have great workplaces and to encourage all organizations to improve the quality of their workplaces. Entrants were evaluated on the basis of independently conducted surveys of employees, who rated their employers based on workplace practices in compensation, leadership, appreciation, career opportunities and management.

In Virtual’s employee survey results, areas where the company scored particularly high included employee benefits, keeping employees informed about company decisions, work efficiency, strength of senior management, training opportunities and the confidence employees feel about their futures at the firm.
