Marketing Communications Manager

Responsibilities:
We are seeking an  innovative and diligent marketing professional to create, manage and  produce communication vehicles and public relations support. The successful  candidate will effectively translate strategic messaging into the appropriate  mix of compelling communications strategies, tactics, initiatives and programs. Duties and  responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Promote  and maintain consistency of the client brand across all contact points and  published materials
  • Research  and write marketing copy, web content, e-promotions, press releases,  presentations, scripts, Fact Sheets, FAQs and backgrounders; coordinate  distribution and approval
  • Work  with designers to develop outstanding collateral, slide presentations,  eMarketing promotions, newsletters and other business building tools
  • Manage  collateral life cycle with third-party vendors
  • Market  global conferences and tradeshows for client to drive attendance
  • Develop  and execute marketing promotions to increase membership
  • Support  PR Director in executing global media relations programs for clients and  company
  • Work  effectively with association’s worldwide marketing committee and working groups;  help to drive consensus on content of marketing materials
  • Develop  talking points and briefing documents for press appointments
  • Oversee  and execute media and analyst outreach, including social media
  • Organize and secure media attendance at client press  conferences

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and  abilities: 

  • Bachelor's  degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a  related field; Master’s degree a plus
  • 5+  years of experience in high-tech public relations and communications; agency  experience preferred
  • Outstanding  communication ability; marketing and PR writing samples required
  • Strong  attention to detail
  • Experience  using social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter for public relations  and marketing outreach
  • Proven  ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Track  record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Hands-on  experience with media relations required; global and broadcast media background  a plus
  • Ability  to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, rapidly growing and changing  environment
  • Experience  writing for non-native English speakers and a global audience
  • Proven  vendor management experience with strong negotiation skills
  • High  level of organization, computer skills and the ability to learn and apply  technologies in day-to-day work
  • Proficiency  in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; HTML knowledge a plus
