Virtual, Inc. Expands Staff To Serve Growing Needs Of Association Clients

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Nov. 18, 2009 – Virtual, Inc. (http://www.virtualmgmt.com), a technology-focused association management company, has hired a number of new employees and promoted several senior staff members, reflecting both recent growth in its client roster and the expansion of activities at established clients.

The following new staff members have joined the company:

  • Paula Antista, Meeting and Event Coordinator, assists in planning and executing meetings and events for Virtual’s global clients. Her background includes several years in meeting and travel planning.
  • Cindy Adams, Director of Operations, PCI Security Standards Council, brings to Virtual many years of IT program management and technical experience in broadly diversified industries, including financial services, technology, communications, healthcare, insurance and manufacturing. Most recently, she was Vice President, IT Program Manager at State Street Global Advisors.
  • John Kenefic, Web Services Project Manager, has more than 10 years of consulting/technical project management experience working with such clients as the United States Senate, Fidelity Investments and IBM. In his new position, he provides Virtual’s clients with customized Web solutions, and is responsible for all Web project management.
  • Russell Kuhl, Senior Director of Information Technology, has spent much of his 13-year IT career as a hands-on team member and an IT project manager, and has extensive experience in designing remote workplaces, with a focus on security. He holds a number of certifications, including CISSP and CEH.
  • Clare Madden, Senior Client Program Director, has day-to-day operational oversight of several clients, provides leadership to internal teams and counsels clients on strategies to foster their growth. In addition to 10 years of association experience, she served as a Congressional Aide for several years.
  • Lisa Tracey, Program Manager, comes to Virtual following stints as Business Analyst and Project Manager at industrial and financial services companies.
  • Regina Young, Program Manager, brings more than six years of varied program management experience in the non-profit/entrepreneurial arena to her new position.
  • Christina Zagami, Senior Financial Analyst, prepares client financial reports and yearly budgets, and coordinates tax filings. She spent 18 years at 3Com Corporation in various finance and supply chain positions, culminating in a business operations role overseeing all the databases that fed the company’s automated financial reporting tools.

Promoted senior staff members include Rebekka Bennett, now Events Manager; Paula Berger, now Executive Director of the NFC Forum, Inc.; Janice Carroll, now Vice President of Client Services; Ruth Cassidy, now Vice President of Communications; and Terry Lowney, now Vice President of Finance and Administration.
