VIRTUAL, INC. MARKS ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH NEW CLIENTS: LSPA AND NEBA

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – June 30, 2009 – Virtual, Inc. (http://www.virtualmgmt.com), an innovative association and virtual community management company, has added two new clients: the LSP Association (LSPA; http://www.lspa.org) and the New England Biotech Association (NEBA; http://www.newenglandbiotech.org/). The LSPA, founded in 1993, is an organization for Massachusetts Licensed Site Professionals and professionals in allied sciences and services.

The LSPA assists its nearly 1000 members in achieving and maintaining a standard of practice commensurate with their level of responsibility in overseeing the assessment and remediation of hazardous waste disposal sites; serves as the voice of the membership in communicating with MassDEP and the LSP Board of Registration; and acts as the responsible advocate of its membership with respect to regulations, policies, and practices that affect the LSP profession.

Virtual will provide a full range of operations, technology and marketing support, training management and headquarters services to the LSPA.

Launched in 2008, NEBA is the policy and public affairs voice for the biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industry in New England, helping to keep the region a global leader in biotechnology and the life sciences. NEBA’s hundreds of members come from the New England states and include state biotech associations, biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and other organizations. NEBA promotes public policies that foster innovation; encourages economic development in the biotech sector; and supports patients’ access to breakthrough biotechnology medicines.
